AMSO 1.21: IMPORTANT PRELIMINARY REMARK --------------------------------------- ATTENTION !!! This version has, unfortunately, an unfinished set of meshes. I decided to publish it in this state, because as you will read in "WhatsNew.txt" file, this version represent an important work with many improvements. This code is now ready since several months. It would be sad that you cannot benefit of all this work, just for some minor missing graphic features. The day Luis Teixeira, the AMSO graphist, will found the time to finish the work, I will publish a graphic update. These unfinished parts concern the canard wings of the escape tower, the parachute shield cone and the CM: - You won't see deployed, the canard wings of the escape tower, as the mesh "Saturn_esc_can.msh" is actually a fake mesh identical to "Saturn_esc.msh". - You won't see the deployment of the small parachute for the shield cone, as "Apollo_CMXcone_chute.msh" are fake meshes identical to "Apollo_CMXcone.msh". The shield cone won't also be hanging properly under the parachute and the burned version of these meshes do not exist actually (version X=2). - "Apollo_CM2.msh" (burned version of the CM) has some missing corrections, so you won't see some details, like the 3 main parachutes small mortars, at some stages of the sequence of the parachutes deployment. More generally, the new set of meshes used in the whole abort sequences and parachutes deployment, are also not completely finished. ACS / 12 November 2011
