Panneau & Tunings pour les MD-11 de Mike Stone, d´Overland et d´iFDG
Version 2.52 pour FS2004

Voici la version FS2004 de mon panneau 2D pour les modèles MD-11 de Mike Stone, d´Overland et d´iFDG. Une fois le package installé, vous pourrez très facilement installer et désinstaller le panneau sur toutes installations d´avion MD-11 des auteurs cités avant, en utilisant un programme spécialement développé à cette effet (voir image ci dessous).

Here is the FS2004 version of my 2D panel for MD-11 models of Mike Stone, Overland and iFDG. When the package is installed, you will be able to install and uninstall very easily the panel on any MD-11 aircaft installation of previously mentionned authors, by using a custom program specially developed for this purpose (see picture here after).

Ce programme va non seulement lier le panneau à l´avion, mais va aussi installer un "tuning" complet du modèle de vol et toutes les adaptations aux contraintes du panneau. Si vous le désirez, ce programme vous permettra aussi d´installer, dans le répertoire de l´avion, ACS LoadEdit, un éditeur de charge utiles. Vous pourrez même directement choisir la paramétrisation appropriée au type de MD-11.

This program will not only link the panel to the aircraft, but will also install a complete tuning of the flight dynamic model and all adaptations required by the panel. If you want it, this program will also allow you to install, into the aircraft directory, ACS LoadEdit, a payload editor. You will be either able to directly choose the appropriate parametrization for the MD-11 type..

Cette version du panneau va plus loin qu´une simple adaptation à FS2004. Pour plus d´informations à ce sujet, vous pouvez lire ici le fichier "readme.txt" du "package" (en langue anglaise). This version of the panel goes farther than a simple adaptation to FS2004. For more informations on this matter, you can read here the file "readme.txt" of the package. You can also refer to the informations given in the page "Swissair MD-11, the full package" (in french language only).

Nouvelles fonctions et commandes du panneau / New functions and commands of the panel

Sur cette image, vous voyez le déroulement d´une alarme TCAS (alarme collision). L´écran (1) montre l´avion menaçant en descente, 700 pieds, en dessous de nous. Sur l´écran (2), l´avion s´approche et se met à monter: mauvais, très mauvais !!! L´écran (3), c´est l´alarme TCAS. On entends "Traffic! Traffic!" dans la cabine. L´écran est passé automatiquement en mode d´alarme et n´affiche plus le plan de vol. Sur l´écran (4), le TCAS a ordonné "Descend, crossing descend", car l´avion monte toujours et se trouve en dessous de nous. Sur l´écran (5), le danger s´éloigne. Sur l´écran (6), la menace est écartée, l´avion est sorti de la distance critique, l´écran revient en mode normal.

On this picture, you can see the sequence of a TCAS alarm (collision alarm). Screen (1) show the threating aircraft in descent, 700 feets below us. On screen (2),  the aircraft is closing and start to climb: bad, very bad !!! Screen (3), is the TCAS alarm. We hear "Traffic! Traffic!" in the cabin. Screen passed automatically in alarm mode and do not display anymore the flight plan. On screen (4), TCAS has ordered "Descend, crossing descend", because the aircraft is still climbing and is placed under us. On screen (5), the threat goes away. On screen (6), the threat is out of the way, aircraft is outside of the critical distance, the screen return in normal mode.

Sur cette image vous voyez en action la nouvelle fonction WX radar de la gauge "map", avec trois échelles de la même situation météo. Vous constatez également que cette gauge est maintenant complète, avec la graduation ARC du cap et d´autres améliorations à découvrir !!!

On this picture, you can see in action, the new WX radar fonction of the gauge "map", with three scales of the same weather situation. You also notice that this gauge is now complete, with the ARC heading graduation and other improvements to discover !!!

OPTIONS

Cette nouvelle gauge modifie la fonction TCAS de façon à ne pas produire d´alarme tant que la séparation RVSM de 1000 pieds est respectée.

This new gauge modify the TCAS function to avoid producing alarms while the RVSM separation of 1000 feets is respected.
